ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

 

  • Responsible for coordinating programs activities.
  • Support in the development of programmes to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals.
  • Develop budgets and operating plans for programs and writing program funding proposals.
  • Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Support in the development of new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Conduct evaluation to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
  • Work with a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
  • Provide project analytics to highlight status of progress and issues. 
  • Working on tactical related matters.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve programme goals. 


Key Challenges

  • Ensuring success of transformation projects/programmes at entreprise or subsidiary/division level.
  • Convincing and getting buy-in from internal and external stakeholders related to transformation projects.
  • Facilitate and advise project leads on tactical matters.

Education

External

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or any related technical or business discipline is required.
  • Possession of a Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an added advantage.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field will be considered an added advantage.


Relevant Industries

External

  • Degree with a minimum of 1–3 years’ relevant experience in project management, transformation, or related functions.
  • Relevant industries include aviation, infrastructure, construction, property development, transportation, consulting, or financial modeling for development planning.
  • Knowledge of Project Management will be an added advantage.
